There are several different ways drugs can be administered. You’re probably familiar with injections and pills that you swallow, but medications can be given in many other ways as well. Therefore, Jaguru Health Care Services registered nurses, Enrolled nurses and support workers are here to assist you with medication administration such as:
Infused - injected into a vein with an IV line and slowly dripped in over time
Enteral delivered directly into the stomach or intestine (with a G-tube or J-tube
Intravenous - injected into a vein or into an IV line
Rectal - inserted into the rectum
Inhaler-able breathed in through a tube or mask
Intramuscular - injected into muscle with a syringe
you medication safely. The Jaguru Health Care staff are receiving annual medication training so that the can be able to administered medication in right route and safely. However not all types of medications can be administered at home, JHCS team will take our participant to their GP or hospital if they need further treatment.
JHCS team working together with pharmacies in regards to proper storage, handling, and disposal of medication.
JHCS's registered nurses are trained in all right routes of medication administration and to keep in mind that there is “eight rights” when administering drugs.
